ROBOTICS - WeDo Level 2

This course will allow students to create more complex robots with LEGO EV3. Students will develop computational thinking skills as they learn how to code robots to maneuver through a variety of obstacles and challenges. Each class is an hour long. It is broken into an intro, exploration phase, creation phase, operating and troubleshooting phase and sharing phase. The tuition covers the cost of all the hardware, Lego pieces etc.

ROBOTICS - EV3 Level II

Level II presents students with the challenge of “sensors” which allows the EV3 to react to the world around it without the need for strenuous coding. This higher level of coding will teach students the value of critical thinking combined with creativity in order to solve challenges that change with every attempt. This level focuses on teaching the EV3 robot to think for itself through the use of “if functions” and “infinity loops” while integrating the use of seamless mobility taught in Level I. At the end of this course, students will be able to program their robots to not only move flawlessly through any given environment but also to communicate with its surroundings.

ROBOTICS - EV3 Level I

In EV3 Fundamentals Level I, students will be guided in how to properly utilize the EV3’s mobilization capability. Students will be presented with challenges that will increase in difficulty throughout the curriculum. Once students have shown that they are able to fluently navigate an EV3 through an obstacle course they will be ready to advance to Level II
